Wheels Through Time Revs up for the Season
Ask any Carolina biker and they’ll tell you Dale’s Wheels Through Time is a must-visit for any motorcycle enthusiast. Founded by Dale Walksler, this Maggie Valley, NC motorcycle museum features a vast collection of rare and vintage motorcycles, ranging from the earliest models to more modern classics. Known as “The Museum That Runs,” many of the motorcycles are in running condition, and the museum hosts live demonstrations where visitors can see these historic bikes in action. The staff spends the day firing them up for guests.
Over the winter, the museum staff was busy making improvements to exhibits and, of course, bringing more vintage motorcycles back to life. This Spring they will be unveiling some new classics including an original paint 1947 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead, a newly restored 1942 Harley-Davidson U Model, and a 1945 Harley-Davidson WL Model brought back to life after sitting dormant for over 50 years.

The motorcycle museum reopens for the season on April 4. It is open 10am-5pm Thursday-Monday, through November 25. Located at 62 Vintage Lane, Maggie Valley. For more information or to get your raffle tickets on the 1936 Knucklehead, go to wheelsthroughtime.com.
